Welcome to Maine Green Casket.

Thank you for visiting.

Our casket :

  • Tongue and groove plank construction
  • Rope handles, plain and simple
  • Two-part top, pre-drilled for screws to secure top onto sides
  • A smooth, flush bottom made from a birch veneer plywood.  This yields a surface that's very easy to slide into a hearse or vehicle with rollers that assist the transport of caskets.  The plywood bottom design and the nearly clear Maine White Pine planks on sides and top (2 part) make the Maine Green Casket a strong transport container for burial and cremation.  see more photos here

The Maine Green CasketYes, the purchase of a casket requires planning and preparation by the family, and you.  But choices are best handled when done in advance, not in an emotional rush.  Take your time and learn the value of our simple pine box.    Buying a Maine Green Casket is one way to sustain our local professional cabinet shops and forest stewards while spending money wisely. A casket need not cost thousands of dollars. Period.

Consider a Maine Green Casket, you and your family members can then concentrate on more important estate planning issues.

Thank you for that.
